THE BRONX IS BURNING (TBIB) is a four member band out of the Bronx, New York. Formed in 2005, members have been playing together in various incarnations for the better part of a decade. The Bronx Is Burning's core sound is punk/hardcore. But a fondness for country and metal has been fused to give an unusual sound.
THE BRONX IS BURNING draws inspiration from their beloved New York City; the 1980s hardcore and hip hop movements; graffiti artists, subway performers and street dancers. All these elements help create the soundtrack of the city which flows through the band's sound like the Hudson River flowing into the Atlantic.
The boys of The Bronx Is Burning strive to embody music for the sake of music. Their pure passion for the art form bonds the quartet together as a unit. Playing music is what The Bronx Is Burning love doing. And while being compensated is important, money is not a motivational factor.
